Nyons

Located in Drome Provençale near the border between the Alps of Dauphine and the Baronnies, and forty kilometers east of the Rhone valley, the town of Nyons is surrounded by low mountains whose highest peak reach nearly 1000 meters: Essaillon, Garde-Grosse, Saint-Jaume and Vaux. These reliefs form a circular chamber (circus) that opens at sunset to the downstream valley of Eygues. This very special location give it a unique microclimate, dry and sunny.
